Experience regional customs up close, such as the autumn Viehscheid, when cattle are driven down from their mountain pastures into the valleys. Or marvel at Klausentag at the beginning of December, when the local men follow the old tradition of dressing in furs and carrying staffs and running through the streets of Oberstdorf in the late evening to drive away the winter spirits!
